Answer: Code Section704.3. Horizontal branches shall connect to the bases of the stacks at a point located not less than 10 times the diameter of the drainage stack downstream from the stack.

Can an ASSE 1016 device be used under a single lavatory to meet code section 607.1?
Before the adoption of the Ohio Plumbing Code 2007, the ASSE 1016 tempering device would be an approved means of tempering the water but our current code calls for a device conforming to a specific standard ASSE 1070 only.
